v-JUKE (Virtual Device Jukebox Interface) delivers a transparent devicelevel interface to the media in any type of jukebox. Since v-JUKEprovides a separate device interface to each volume in the jukebox, everyvolume appears to be mounted in its own tape/disk drive. By simplyopening the device representing the desired media, any application canget device level (raw) I/O access to the media.
